Hook remover? Japanese fishing rod? Wazo, telescopic rod, fishing tackle, knife?

This is a fishing tool (hook remover) made with traditional techniques. Generally, it has a metal fitting (round or U-shaped, etc.) at the tip for hooking the fishing hook, and the handle is made of materials such as bamboo or carbon.
It may also be a Japanese fishing rod, but I am an amateur and do not know the details.
