Contrabass Carlo Giordano SB100
This is an entry-level double bass from Carlo Giordano.
When I acquired it, I was surprised by its incredible condition. I wondered how many lives I must have lived to not give up on the double bass if I had started with this...
Anyway, that was a tangent... sorry.
I used this for research on adjustments!
Adjustments made include: installation of adjusters, fingerboard adjustment, soundpost replacement, tailwire replacement, and pickup installation. The pickup is a handmade lifeline type of my own design.
The strings are used Spirocore medium G and D, and Helicore Orchestra A and E for testing.
The urethane-based clear coat has a lot of cracks due to being applied thickly, but the wood itself is currently in good condition.
How about using it as a leave-behind bass at cafes?
It's a hassle to bring my bass, so having a leave-behind bass like this would be a lifesaver! Well, if you ask if it's good or not, it's debatable, but considering carrying it on a crowded train, I'd borrow this. Thank you~
I think it's at that level.
Also suitable for rental basses at studios.
Comes with the original black soft case, which is usable as a cover. The zipper hardware is broken, but the zipper still closes.
It is listed as cash on delivery, but please note that I only offer in-person pickup.
