Pre-sewn Kimono, Silk, Double-layered, Yujiro Nakamura, Ise Katagami, Edo Komon

Yujiro Nakamura is a holder of the Important Intangible Cultural Property for Edo Komon using Ise Katagami.
The fact that his name is attached means it's not just a regular Komon.

Extremely fine stencil carving and dyeing precision.
It looks plain from a distance, but a detailed pattern appears up close.

This is the Edo aesthetic that has perfected iki (chic).

The closest color to the base color is willow soot bamboo.

*There is a metal stain on the lining due to storage.
