This is a komon kimono with an orange-toned wave pattern in a gradient. Upon research, it appears to be a Seigaiha pattern, which is an auspicious and lucky motif representing wishing for eternal peace by layering gentle waves in a fan shape. The fabric is also smooth and appears suitable for semi-formal occasions. From a distance, it looks like a plain color, so the overall impression can be changed with the obi.
This kimono was tailored a long time ago, and there are age-related stains on the inner parts (please refer to the images). The outer part is relatively clean.
