♪ Master Maid Violin Bow ☆ D.S. FINKEL ☆
Thank you for viewing.
I am listing my cherished violin bow for sale.
You may already know, as they are famous, but this bow is made by FINKEL, a world-renowned string instrument bow workshop located in Switzerland.
For their higher-end bows, FINKEL uses the craftsman's name on the work, and they are made using high-quality Pernambuco wood.
This is a violin bow made by D.S. FINKEL, the head of the FINKEL company, with a retail price of ¥517,000.
As you can see, it features FINKEL's characteristic metal tip and is crafted from wonderful, high-quality Pernambuco wood. It combines playability, tone, and power, and I felt it would be particularly well-suited for both old and modern instruments.
I am listing it because I have decided to change my bow.
It has been used for about one month, has no lateral warping, and I believe the bow hair does not need to be replaced. It is in almost mint condition.
Due to regulations on Pernambuco wood, further price increases are expected this year. Furthermore, bow production is shifting from Pernambuco wood to IPE wood, and I have heard that good quality Pernambuco bows will become difficult to obtain.
I am not necessarily looking to sell it quickly, but rather to pass it on to someone who truly needs a good violin bow, so please refrain from purchasing if you intend to resell it.
In terms of performance, it can be used without issue as a primary first bow for amateur orchestra players, so please consider it.
Stick: Pernambuco
Frog: Ebony
Fittings: Silver
Weight: 62g
