Violin Bow (4/4 Full Size) Accessories for 100,000 Yen Set [⚠️ Requires Rehairing]
Product Description
⚠️ The bow hair needs to be replaced. The bow itself has minor scratches but is still fully usable.
Thank you for looking.
This is a violin bow that was purchased as part of a set for approximately ¥100,000 when I started playing the violin.
(YAMAHA)
I am currently using a different bow as my main one, and this one has been kept as a spare. I am now selling it for decluttering purposes.
⚠️ When shipping, please let me know if you would prefer it shipped as is (with the broken hair) or if you would prefer the hair to be removed.
■ Product Condition
• Hair Condition: The hair is currently broken and detached. It will require **rehairing at a musical instrument store (estimated ¥7,000 - ¥8,000)** before use.
• Stick (Wooden part): No major scratches, cracks, or warping are observed.
• Screw: Turns smoothly, and adjusting the tension of the hair is not an issue.
■ Recommended Points
The construction is more solid than the bows included in inexpensive beginner sets costing a few thousand yen. It has a moderate weight and flexibility characteristic of Brazilwood (or a similar class).
This is ideal for those who want to string their own preferred hair and use it as a practice sub-bow or want to obtain a spare bow at an affordable price.
■ Shipping
It will be carefully packed with bubble wrap and other protective materials, then shipped in a long, narrow cardboard box (or cylindrical packaging) via Rakuraku Mercari Bin to prevent damage.
*Please understand that this is a used item that requires maintenance before purchasing.
This is a bow that was included in a genuine set from Yamaha, a leading Japanese manufacturer. Although it is for beginners, its stable construction allows for reliable use.
I strive to ship promptly once packing preparations are complete.
Thank you for your consideration.
⚠️ The earliest possible shipping date is Sunday, the 22nd.
