Vintage McCoy 1976 Liberty Bell Bicentennial Cookie Jar Brown Drip Pottery USA

This large vintage McCoy cookie jar celebrates America's Bicentennial. The jar features the Liberty Bell and 1776–1976 commemorative design. Finished in McCoy's classic brown drip glaze with a cream-toned collar, this milk can shaped cookie jar is a wonderful example of 1970s American pottery and makes an great addition to a patriotic collection or vintage kitchen.  The front features a raised Liberty Bell with the dates 1776 and 1976, while the reverse displays a raised shield with 76 beneath three stars. The underside is marked USA.  This cookie jar measures approximately 10.5 inches tall with the lid, 7.5 inches wide from handle to handle, and 6.75 inches in diameter at the base.
