Vintage Japanese Lacquer Nut Bowl with Brass Nutcracker Burgundy Made in Japan

A vintage Japanese lacquer nut bowl with an integrated brass nutcracker, finished in a rich burgundy lacquer with a warm brass rim. Made in Japan, it retains its original S&S Alcohol & Stainproof Lacquer Ware label and reflects the thoughtful design of mid-century entertaining pieces. Both functional and sculptural, it serves equally well as a serving bowl or decorative accent.  Measurements: • Diameter: 9.5 • Height: 4.5 (to top of nutcracker)  Very good vintage condition with a glossy finish, light surface wear consistent with age, and a natural patina to the brass hardware. The original manufacturer's label remains intact on the underside.  We carefully select every item and believe in transparency.
