Rare Chinese Bamboo Shafted Yamaba Brush Small - Japanese Painting Brush, Tamage (Cat Hair) Brush, Sheep Wool Brush - Set of 4

✾ Small Yamaba Brush with Bamboo Core

The raw material, Yamaba, is the hair of water deer from Southeast Asia and India. As it is currently restricted for import under the Washington Convention, this is an extremely rare brush.

This brush was made by a brush craftsman a long time ago.
It was not yet ready for sale in retail stores, so it does not have any engravings for the product name, etc.

The bristles are stiff, resulting in a rough, scratchy expression.

This is a very expensive and rare brush.
We kindly ask those who can use it to consider it. It is unused but has been stored for a long time. Please forgive any oversights.

✾ Set of 4 Japanese painting (calligraphy) brushes:
✾ Sheep wool brush
✾ Tamou (cat hair) brush

There may be uneven coloring or fine scratches on the shaft.
Please understand.
We appreciate your consideration.
