[abg様 Pickup Only] Oriente HO-38 Double Bass (2005.6)

This is a listing for an Oriente Contrabass (ORIENTE HO-38).
Manufactured in June 2005, the label (photo 7) reads yamano music original No.0002. While details are unclear, it appears to be an instrument customized by Yamano Music. The only clear modification from the HO-38 is the replacement of the endpin and endpin socket (photo 8). Other modifications are unknown due to a lack of documentation. Based on experience, simply upgrading the endpin can improve sound quality, and this HO-38, based on trial playing, sounds one to two ranks higher.
Aside from a slight bow scratch near the f-hole on the right side of the top plate (photo 3), there are no noticeable scratches, and it is in very clean condition.
As usual, the back of the neck has been processed to remove varnish and facilitate smooth shifting, as humidity can sometimes hinder it (photo 6).
The strings are still the original Belcanto orchestra strings from when it was acquired, and they are still usable. We encourage those who play the contrabass in concert bands or orchestras and particularly value all-solid wood construction to consider acquiring this instrument.
Included is a used Grazioso contrabass bag (CBA-1, moss green, with one small tear at the bottom of the case). If you do not need the case, we will offer a ¥13,000 discount, so please let us know in advance.
We cannot arrange for shipping through a third-party service, so this is for [pickup only]. However, we can deliver to your nearest designated location within Yamagata Prefecture or nearby prefectures (south of Akita City in Akita Prefecture, north of Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture, north of Niigata City in Niigata Prefecture, etc.) for actual travel expenses including fuel. We can also deliver to stations along the Tohoku Shinkansen line for the actual travel expenses to the nearest station. (We can also accommodate locations in Tokyo, such as Ueno Station.)
For trial playing, it will be at my residence in eastern Sakata City or western Osaki City. If you wish to try it out in Osaki City, there will be a venue rental fee of ¥500 per person (plus ¥500 for each accompanying person).
