Vintage Wallada Cordoba Spain Cuerda Seca Terracotta Art Pottery Vase 6"
Wallada
Bring home a beautiful example of vintage Spanish studio pottery with this signed Wallada terracotta vase from Córdoba, Spain. Produced during the 1970s–1980s, Wallada is known for its distinctive hand-painted ceramics created using the traditional cuerda seca (dry cord) technique. The vase features warm terracotta clay decorated with a striking turquoise and black abstract motif. The glossy turquoise glaze is separated by dark outlining, a hallmark of the centuries-old cuerda seca process that creates dramatic contrast against the matte clay body. Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted. There are light surface scuffs, minor paint wear, and small marks consistent with age and gentle use. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. Style Profile: Wallada, Terracotta, Studio Pottery, Artisan, Boho, Southwestern, Mid Century Modern, Abstract, Geometric, Earthy, Rustic, Mediterranean, Hand Painted, Decorative Vase.
