MCM Green Swung Finger Vase 5 Finger Viking LE Smith Handblown Sculpture 9"
None and/or Unknown
Mid-Century Modern green swung glass 'finger' vase with five pulled fingers rising off a bulbous base. Swung glass was a signature technique of Viking Glass and L.E. Smith in West Virginia through the 1960s and 70s: pulled while hot and swung on a chain to elongate into organic finger shapes. This olive-green version reads sculptural rather than functional. Great as-is on a shelf. Details: Maker: Viking or L.E. Smith Style: MCM swung finger vase Era: 1960s-70s Condition: Excellent Size: 9
