Freirich Signed Vintage Faux Coral MCM Gold Tone Brooch Pin  Mid century modern beauty  Estimated 60s era Carved faux coral center  Freirich was originally established in France making hats and “dress ornaments,” expanding into jewelry and the U.S. in the 1920s. It was known for high quality metal work (usually gold tone), jewelry with a Victorian flair, and interesting designs. Stones were typically prong-set with some unfoiled stones being featured in open-back settings.  Freirich did not begin signing their jewelry until 1964.
