Rajasthani Banjara Patchwork Crossbody Clutch Bag Hot Pink Tassels Mirror Boho
None
Preowned Rajasthani Banjara-style patchwork crossbody clutch, made from scraps of vintage Indian textiles pieced with shisha (mirror) embroidery, metallic threadwork, and finished with hot pink cotton tassel fringe and a pink braided shoulder strap. The Banjara are a nomadic people of Rajasthan and Gujarat whose women hand-embroider mirror-work textiles as part of their traditional dress. As those textiles retire from ceremonial use, artisans across northwest India repurpose the fragments into small clutches, each one a one-off patchwork of vintage embroidery. This one has florals, gold zari, shisha mirror work and geometric borders, trimmed with pink cotton tassels.
