Schmid 1981 Hummel Christmas Plate, A Time To Remember, Schmid Porcelain

Four young children go sledding and hunting for a Christmas tree on this 1981 Hummel Christmas porcelain plate by Schmid. The West German plate was displayed in my family's home for many years, as my father was a collector of fine porcelain, and I grew up loving Christmas plates. This beautiful plate comes with its own box and certificate of authenticity. Berta Hummel painted the scene shown on the plate, and her mother chose this scene for the German firm Schmid to create as a 1981 Christmas plate. I will pack the plate in its box with new Bubble Wrap and packing peanuts and ship with USPS Ground Advantage Mail in a sturdy outer box.
