Description
Antique Japanese Satsuma pottery ewer features intricate hand-painted moriage details and a traditional crackle glaze. The vessel is decorated with a detailed scene of a seated figure on one side and a mythical creature on the reverse, accented by elaborate floral and geometric borders. A distinctive ornate handle and scalloped spout add to its classic Meiji period aesthetic. The base bears a red character mark. Please note there is a visible crack and repair near the spout as shown in the photos. Please note the repaired spout.
