This beautiful vintage mid-century modern art glass cylinder vase, standing exactly 10 inches tall. This stunning piece features a vibrant cobalt and powder blue oblong bubble inclusion technique suspended within a clear glass casing. The cylinder sits on a heavy, distinct, dark blue glass disk foot. The bottom of the base is completely ground and polished flat, a definitive hallmark of high-quality, handcrafted studio glass production from the 1960s or 1970s. The vase is unsigned and does not bear any maker's marks or original paper labels. It is designed heavily in the manner of vintage Scandinavian and European studio glass, resembling pieces by makers such as Sarner Glas or Benny Motzfeldt.
