Funny Story by Emily Henry Hardcover

Plot SummaryThe story follows Daphne Vincent, a structured and practical children's librarian whose life completely implodes when her fiancé, Peter, dumps her. On the night of his bachelor party, Peter realizes he is actually in love with his lifelong childhood best friend, Petra.Stranded in the small lakeside town of Waning Bay, Michigan—a town she only moved to for Peter—Daphne finds herself heartbroken and roomless. Out of pure necessity, she moves in with the only person who can truly understand her bizarre situation: Miles Nowak, a laid-back, chaotic winery worker who happens to be Petra’s newly dumped ex-boyfriend.Though Daphne and Miles are complete opposites, they bond over their shared heartbreak, grief, and mutual betrayal. After receiving a wedding invitation from their exes, Daphne impulsively lies and tells Peter that she and Miles are dating. This sparks a fake dating arrangement designed to make their exes jealous and post misleading photos of their summer adventures. However, as Miles shows Daphne around northern Michigan and they share late-night vulnerabilities, the lines between what is fake and what is real quickly begin to blur. Bundle 2 and Save.
