YAMAHA YSL-882UG Xeno Tenor Bass Trombone
Yamaha Tenor Bass Trombone Xeno Series
(Original new retail price approx. ¥550,000)

This is the first model of YAMAHA's top-of-the-line Japanese-made professional model, the Xeno series, which, alongside Bach and Selmer, is counted among the top three trombones.

This is a high-end trombone chosen by professionals, principal orchestral players, music college and vocational school students, streamers, and anyone who dedicates their life to playing.
The beautiful bell, with its reddish hue due to copper content, is exquisite.
It is Gold Plus.

I previously had a family member's Bach 42 at home, and although I was a beginner who only dabbled with it, I purchased this out of curiosity.
As with the Bach, I felt no barrier to producing sound, and the feeling of playing as one with the instrument was truly remarkable.
The elegant and consistent tone is also exquisite!

While the current UG II is slightly stiffer with a more defined contour, this model has a thicker, milder, and warmer tone that is irreplaceable. It is said to be more suited for orchestral playing.
The fine operability is even superior to Bach's.

There are scuffs, dullness, and minor rust, particularly around the hand grip area, but it is in very good condition for a used trombone!
Of course, it plays without any issues and is in good working order.
