Louis Vuitton Rare Early 1980s Speedy 40 - zipper needs repair

Very vintage bag - from my research it’s 1982 or 1983 - see pic from google search   Biggest issue is the zipper needs repaired.  Monogram has faded some over time but no cracks or tears in canvas.   Inside is pretty clean no major stains.  It does have a slight storage smell.   I cleaned the inside good and have been airing it out.  It should keep getting better   No bad smell just slight storage.   Lock is old as well. It’s number 224.  I do not have the key.    Vachetta has darkening  Hardware needs polishing   Has the Eclair zipper with leather tab still attached   Has a little bit of surface cracking.
