There are linear insertion marks from attaching to the instrument, but overall there are only minor scuffs, so there should be no problem with use.

This is a mouthpiece that allows for easy airflow and flexible sound, but it did not suit me, so I am selling it. Purchased new and stored in a non-smoking home environment.
