Description
Ricoh AF-70 35mm Point & Shoot Film Camera — FOR PARTS / REPAIR Up for sale is a cosmetically very clean Ricoh AF-70 autofocus 35mm camera. It powers on and the internal electronics respond, but it has a flash charging defect that prevents the shutter from releasing. Great candidate for a repair project or to salvage the excellent Rikenon 35mm f/3.5 lens! Functional Notes & Defect: • Power: Camera powers on correctly. • Autofocus: The red AF confirmation light in the viewfinder responds when the shutter is pressed halfway. • The Defect: The pop-up flash flips up, but the Ready light never illuminates. Because the system is waiting on the flash to charge, the shutter remains electronically locked and will not fire. Cosmetics: • Exceptionally clean body with minimal wear. Battery compartment is pristine and free of corrosion. Includes: Ricoh AF-70 camera, original wrist strap, and vintage carrying bag. Sold strictly AS-IS for parts or repair salvage. No returns. Ships fast and securely.
