Antique Late 19th Century [Onyx/Marble] Mantel Clock with Ornate Brass Accents

⛔️ The watch is currently not tested due to the missing winding key (charging)⛔️⬇️ 🔛 Again the watch needs the key and of course it needs service to ensure that everything runs well the first step is to buy the key charge it to see how it works and the second step is to consult a service if it needs service or if it does not!🔛  this is an Antique Onyx Mantel Clock, likely made by the Ansonia Clock Company or the Waterbury Clock Company in the late 19th or early 20th century. These clocks were popular Victorian-era timepieces  Case Material: The case is crafted from banded onyx (often referred to as white or yellow onyx marble), known for its translucent, layered appearance.Dial & Movement:Features a gilt brass dial with Roman numeral markers.Likely an 8-day spring-driven movement with a time and strike mechanism (strikes on the hour and half-hour).Includes a visible or open escapement at the center of the dial.Design Elements: Victorian or Neo-Grec style featuring ornate brass mounts on the sides and a decorative brass bezel around the face.Dimensions: Similar models typically stand approximately 10 to 11.5 inches high.  Condition: Overall excellent external condition with minor age-appropriate wear. There is a small, stable hairline crack on the upper corner that was professionally reinforced with adhesive many years ago. The repair is solid and does not detract from the clock's structural integrity or visual appeal.
