Vintage Belt Buckle 1976 Summer Olympic Games Square Shape Silver Color USA Made By Bergamot Brass Works. Beautiful buckle with normal wear and tear due to age and use, and kind of heavy. This piece of history was made in the USA way back in 1976 by Bergamot Brass Works. Fits a 1-3/4 belt. Bergamot Brass Works is an active manufacturer in Delavan, Wisconsin. It was the first commercial maker of modern belt buckles to enter the market in the early 70s. Most of their early buckles featured a brass or pewter plating over a base metal, so not all Bergamot Brass Works belt buckles are made out of brass. They produced numerous retail designs in addition to corporate orders. Bergamot Brass Works also produced buckles for wholesale distributors including Siskiyou Buckle Co. and Arroyo Grande Buckle Co.
