New crate and barrel serving tea pot with leaf strainer  in superb just like new condition! Has tag which will be included. Never used! Needs a new home! A white gray color! This item is similar to a traditional Japanese teapot, often referred to as a Tetsubin.   White ceramic hobnail teapot with original matching lid. Clearly made to resemble a metal teapot but it's actually a sturdy porcelain/ceramic. Lid fits over the opening so it's perfect for concealing a mesh strainer if you want to use one. Excellent condition. No damage.  Holds 5 cups (40 oz). These teapots are characterized by their durable cast iron similar look of construction, intricate hobnail or bumpy patterns (known as arare), and often feature a cast iron handle for aesthetic appeal and heat insulation.
