【Near Mint, Almost Unused】YAMAHA Oboe YOB-422 Full-Auto Yamaha oboe

A rare full-auto model that doesn't come up for sale often,
this is a YAMAHA YOB-422 JDR oboe.

This is the model preceding the YOB-432, which is depicted as the instrument used by Mizore Yoroizuka, the protagonist of Sound! Euphonium and Liz and the Blue Bird.

This instrument was sold by Japan Double Reed, and the JDR mark is present on the case and body.

I purchased it from a used instrument store as a near-mint, almost unused item.
As shown in the photos, the silver plating and body are beautiful, and there are no operational issues.

The current model, YOB-432, has a
list price of ¥550,000 (tax included) and is steadily increasing in price, so I believe this is a great deal.

Yamaha oboes are characterized by their reliability and accurate intonation, typical of Japanese manufacturers,
and their bright, clear tone, similar to Marigaux, which serves as a design inspiration.

The 422 series, in particular, is said to have been designed with Marigaux of that era as a reference.

I believe this would be a suitable option even for those considering a new instrument.
Thank you for your consideration.

Some negotiation on the price is possible.
