Vintage Kemp & Beatley Straw Place Mat Set 4 Mats 4 Coasters New in Box

Somewhere out there is a 1960s hostess who bought this set, tucked it away for company, and then — life happened. The company never came, or maybe it came and she couldn’t bear to unwrap it. Because here it is, six decades later, exactly as it arrived: bow tied, plastic on, gift box pristine. This is a Kemp & Beatley Place Mat Set No. 546, made in Hong Kong — 4 oval woven straw placemats and 4 round braided straw coasters, 100% natural straw, in their original black-and-gold gift presentation box with a white satin ribbon bow. Kemp & Beatley was a well-regarded American tabletop brand known for quality natural fiber and home textile sets. This set has never been used, never been out of the box, and still has its original cellophane wrap. ✦ The Details • Kemp & Beatley, No. 546 — Made in Hong Kong • Circa 1960s–1970s • 4 oval braided straw placemats + 4 round coasters • 100% natural straw • Original black-and-gold gift presentation box, original satin ribbon bow • Original cellophane/plastic wrap intact • Never used — new old stock condition Condition: Excellent; box shows light age wear on exterior only ✦ Perfect For • Boho, cottagecore & natural table styling • Vintage hostess gift collectors & NOS enthusiasts • A summer table, a lake house dinner, or a patio supper • Anyone building a vintage natural fiber collection • A thoughtful, one-of-a-kind housewarming gift ✦ Shipping Boxed up with care — this one arrives ready to give (or keep). ✨
