VA Portugal Pink Floral Garland Porcelain Cachepot Gold Gilt Trim Vintage

Perfect as a center piece, this stunning porcelain cachepot (decorative pot to hide ugly planter) is in a soft pink satin glaze with flowers in a glossy glaze. It stands regally on a gilded pedestal with a wide gold band around the rim. It was made in Portugal by Vista Alegre (VA), the country's first and most prestigious porcelain manufacturer. VA was founded in 1824, granted the title of Royal Factory in 1829, and earned a Royal Warrant from King D. Fernando II, making it the official supplier to the Portuguese Royal Court. It remains a highly prestigious lifestyle brand to this day. Measurements: 7 high from base to rim, 6 7/8 in diameter at rim Excellent Condition: no chips, cracks, or crazing.
