The Nimet signature represents the workshop founded by Nimet Varli, the first woman to professionally produce ceramics in Kütahya, Turkey. Her workshop has been creating handmade, hand-painted ceramics in the traditional Ottoman style since the late 20th century and continues that artisan tradition today. Condition: Pre-owned with some small edge chips (shown in photos). The bowls remain beautiful, fully functional, and display wonderfully.
