Bach Cornet 181ML - Working condition, but a vintage item

US Size:

This is a Bach long cornet, model 181ML.
The serial number is in the 210,000 range, so it is quite old.
As you can see in the images, there is a lot of lacquer peeling on the exterior.
There are also signs of repair on the bell dent, but the dent removal itself appears to have been done cleanly, and I believe there are no dents, including on the branch pipes.

All slides and valves move normally.
The valve compression is sufficient, and I believe this is an instrument that can still be used.
Bach still produces long cornets, but they are becoming rare items.

The tone is somewhat between that of a trumpet and a cornet (short), so I believe it would be particularly effective in concert bands and orchestras. It is also used for jazz solos.

I have used it in various settings, but I no longer have the opportunity to play the cornet, so I am selling it to clear out my equipment.

How about it for someone who doesn't mind the exterior appearance?

The instrument has been cleaned internally for this listing.
At that time, I intentionally did not apply grease. Please use it according to your preference.
If you wish, I can apply grease with my preferred settings and then ship it.

Basically, only the main body is included.
It will be listed with a shipping case.
