C.G.Conn Wonder Cornet Early Model - For switching between trumpet and cornet

This is an early model of the very famous Conn Wonder.
It is in miraculously playable condition.
It has several major features, such as eye-catching engraving and streamlined tubing connecting the valves.

Manufactured 137 years ago in 1888.
This is an individual from about 2 years after the Wonder was released, and is considered quite an early model.
The shape of the valve casings and the design of the branches and bells differ from later models.

While the airtightness is not perfect, it is playable. It features a plump, pure sound. It tends to have a bright and lively tone.

It is unlacquered.

A rather heavy oil is recommended.
Mouthpieces such as Yamaha or Denis can be used, albeit with a tight fit.
It has a cornet shank, not a trumpet shank.
The bell dent has been repaired by a repairman.
There are countless small dents, but the major ones have been fixed.
The second slide brace is missing.

Includes Bb and A leadpipes. Comes with a mute, lyre, mouthpiece, cleaning rod (not pictured, but located inside the back of the case), and original leather case. The original owner's name is inscribed.
