Product Description

[About the Product]
This is a high-end model cornet from the brand AXIS, produced by Itohei Musical Instruments, a long-established shop in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Purchased new about 10 years ago and used for performances. (The seller has 40 years of trumpet experience.)

It features a Shepherd's Crook shape with gently curved tubing, characterized by the soft and rich tone typical of a cornet. Recommended for beginners or those considering switching from trumpet.

Operation: Both pistons and slides move smoothly without sticking. Airtightness is maintained, so you can play it immediately.

Exterior: There are scuffs and small dents from use. The instrument will be meticulously maintained before shipping.

Lacquer: There is some lacquer peeling near where the thumb rests on the 1st piston (see photo 6). There may be minor discoloration due to age, but overall it retains its golden luster and is in good condition for its 10 years of age.
