Vintage Ruth Saltz BROWN SUEDE Cougar Hinge Shoulder EVENING BAG Purse Tan Quilt

Description: FABULOUS vintage Ruth Saltz Cougar bag.  Quilted brushed suede in versatile tan.  Detachable double suede straps - use as a shoulder bag or clutch.  Hinge closure with peg on back side.  Interior is logo printed satin with interior pocket.  Stunning cat head accent.  Sure to turn heads!  Likely late 1960s or early 1970s.  Size: Small bag with 14 strap drop.  Vintage sizes can vary so review all photos of measurements in this listing to ensure proper fit.    Condition: Good vintage.  Some metal wear to cat head as well as the hardware that attaches the straps.  Interior looks clean - a couple of dings to the satin.  Corners look good.  A tiny bit of a gray rub to the exterior suede on the front left corner - it does come off when I use my fingernail but did not want to damage the suede.
