Needlepoint Throw Pillow Two Fish Bahamas Mark Catesby 16x20 Wool Velvet Zip Sea  Large, rectangular throw pillow is in overall excellent condition with just a slight mark/spot on the back of the velvet cover (please see all photos for condition).  Pillow is clean; no odors, hidden zipper cover, poly fill form—perfect for a beach home or cottage—100% wool, hand-crafted needlepoint with ivory/gold cotton velveteen backing.    Pillow measures approx.  16” T x 20” W x 5” D.  This image of the Cugupuguacu fish is taken from The Natural History of Carolina, Florida, and the Bahama Islands (1731-1747) by famed naturalist Mark Catesby. He wrote that they are an esteemed good fish, and are plentiful in the shallow Seas of the Bahama Islands.  Catesby was one of several 18th-century explorers who ventured to remote areas of the world to document regional flora and fauna.
