Vintage handmade studio pottery bowl signed MI and dated 9/96 on the underside. Features a soft gray speckled glaze with hand painted spiral and dot decoration in a dark blue gray tone. Wheel thrown with a shallow form and exposed stoneware foot. The organic minimalist design shows strong Japanese inspired studio pottery influence and makes a wonderful functional or decorative piece. Measurements: 5.75 in diameter. 1.75 in height. Condition: Good vintage condition with light age appropriate wear. No major chips or cracks observed.
