Vintage Wild 50s Beach Towel Calico Nymph On Aqua Terry Pockets 1 Zip w Tag Unused 66x36

Amazing find, never used - an authentic 1950s - fifties beach towel. Rich aqua color with red calico trim. Decorated with appliqued two calico mermaids - water nymphs with rhinestone eyes, center is a whale. Petite ric rac edging. Lower edge has 5 pockets, the center one zips close. Towel measures 36 wide, and 66 long. Condition very good, has two faint closet stipes , and some faint discoloration one pocket - see pics. Retains it's original store tag from Burdines. No content, feels like cotton terry and trim looks to be cotton also. Very rare beach history find , one of a kind this many years later.
