New Japanese Clothing Ensemble: Stylish Kimono & Haori, Custom-Made at a Kyoto Kimono Shop
This is a set of kimono and haori (jacket) custom-made at a kimono shop in Kyoto, recommended by my wife who loves kimono. I am also listing separately a set of coat cords and obi (sash) that I purchased to go with this, as well as a nagajuban (undershirt), so please consider those as well. As you can see in the image, the lining of the haori features a ukiyo-e (Japanese woodblock print) style design, which was recommended by the shop to add a touch of style. I cut the basting threads, intending to wear it, but unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with an incurable disease and have no opportunity to wear it. The color is a slightly bluish navy. It has a hint of blue, which I liked for its stylishness, so I chose the color and material. I believe it is a calm color that can be worn for a long time, so please consider it. I do not remember the material, and there are no maker's marks, so I cannot answer questions about that. Please understand. I believe it is a solid color, but as you can see in the image, there is a pattern when the camera is close. As I am not very knowledgeable about kimono, please judge from the images. (My wife is also not familiar with men's kimono and cannot advise me.) ◇Size◇ I am about 176cm tall and weigh 77kg. Kimono / Length (from shoulder): approx. 147.5cm Sleeve length: approx. 53cm Shoulder width: approx. 34cm Sleeve width: approx. 36cm Sleeve to sleeve length: approx. 70cm Back width: approx. 30cm Front width: approx. 24cm Haori / Basically tailored to match the kimono. Length (from shoulder): approx. 100cm
