Vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Silvaren 6x30 These binoculars were made between 1909 to 1969, although I believe they are made between 1930-44 due to the aluminum prism covers and “Made in Germany” mark. The optics are pretty clean for their age - no fogging or fungus, although there is some haze. They are also pretty bright considering their age. These would look great as a piece on your book shelf with the exposed brass and leather, as well as work well for hiking or seeing boats float by! They do show signs of wear and use, as well as the focusing is a little stiff but works.
