Men's Ojiya Chijimi Nagagi (Kimono)

This is Ojiya Chijimi, purchased about 20 years ago at a men's kimono specialty store in Asakusa, Tokyo.

It's made from two bolts of fabric in different colors, each cut in half, which I think is quite rare.

Men's kimonos don't look good if the size isn't right.
It's the perfect size for me, at 173 cm tall and weighing 65 kg, so it's for someone around 173 cm, but the length is slightly short.

Length: 142 cm
Sleeve length (from center back): 75 cm
Back width: 31 cm

A hemp obi as shown in the image is included.

Please note that it does not come with a tatōshi (paper wrapper).

It looked fantastic coordinated with the Oshima jinbaori (a type of short kimono jacket) that I am also selling separately.

I often wore this when traveling abroad, and in Singapore, children would shout Samurai! Samurai! and chase after me.
Traveling abroad in a kimono is the best!
