These are Ashinaka (half-length straw sandals) made by my aunt, who enjoys crafting them from recycled yukata fabric and unused cotton cloth.
They are worn by gripping the thong with your toes, similar to zori sandals.
The core of the thong is made of fleece for a soft finish.

If purchasing multiple pairs of cloth zori or Ashinaka together, we can accommodate up to two pairs.
Some thicker sandals may not be eligible for combined shipping. We offer a discount on shipping for combined purchases. The price has been adjusted due to an increase in the cost of the PP rope used for men's sandals.

Wearing them for extended periods from the start may cause discomfort in the arch or other areas. Please use them gradually.

Recommended for the following individuals:
- Those with flat feet or bunions
- Those experiencing persistent calf tension
- Those who feel foot fatigue

- Approximately 14 cm (length) x 10 cm (width)
- For indoor use, can be worn while sleeping
- They will gradually conform to your feet with use
- Due to being handmade, there may be slight variations between left and right sandals
- Machine washable in a net
While my aunt's sandals are tightly woven,
for washing, we recommend soaking first, then gently hand washing.
To prevent loss of shape, wring out by sandwiching between bath towels and pressing with your feet, rather than using a washing machine's spin cycle.
- If the front part of the thong stretches, untie the knot on the underside, pull to adjust, and retie. This allows you to always wear them with a comfortable fit.
