Nongjam: [Non-jam] Hamchan Myungju Vase, Korea, Joseon Dynasty, White Porcelain, Celadon
Hamchangmyeongju refers to high-quality natural silk produced in the Gyeongsangbuk-do region.
This is a Han-ari made from Ok-sa, one type of that silk.
10-person fabric is used when making a Jeogori (traditional Korean top).
It comes with a glass bottle inside, so you can use it as a flower vase.
You can arrange fresh flowers, branches, or dried flowers in it.
It has a translucent quality that gives a cool impression, but it also looks lovely with cotton flowers.
This type of Han-ari is currently quite popular in Korea.
Size (please note that measurements are approximate and may vary)
Ok-sa: 120x108mm
Glass bottle: 40x90mm
