Seto Ware Twin Dōsojin Couple Dōsojin Single Flower Vase Flower Arrangement Folk Craft Pottery Vase Object
10.00 $
Description
This is a ceramic single-flower vase inspired by the rustic and warm Sōtaidōsojin (couple Dōsojin) motif.
The front features a three-dimensional depiction of two figures snuggled together, creating a deeply flavorful piece characteristic of folk crafts.
The natural beauty of the green glaze and the unglazed fired clay is exquisite, making it a striking piece not only as a flower vase but also as a decorative object or interior accent.
It is believed to be Seto ware, based on its origin.
There is a mark on the bottom, but it is illegible to the untrained eye, so the specific artist or kiln is unknown.
