French Crystal D'Arques & Kamai Glass Kiriko Glass Pair Set, Showa Retro

This is a crystal glass (wine glass / liqueur glass) featuring the irokise cut technique, a collaborative creation between the renowned French glass brand Cristal d'Arques and Japan's KAMAY Glass, among others.

It is crafted using the irokise cut technique, where layers of cobalt blue (sapphire blue) and crimson red glass are cut away to reveal the transparent crystal underneath. The design features beautiful star and chrysanthemum patterns, reminiscent of Japanese Edo Kiriko and Satsuma Kiriko. The stem incorporates a twisted twisted ball design, which reflects light and shines brilliantly.

It bears the original gold label Cristal d'Arques FRANCE, indicating its French crystal origin. This vintage glass beautifully blends a Showa retro atmosphere with French elegance, possessing a substantial weight and luxurious feel.
