■ What is Natsutayori?
A rare late-season variety, a cross between Nagasaki Wase (known for its sweetness) and Nagasaki Kanka (known for its size). It inherits the best of both: sweet and large. Its season is early to mid-June, 2-3 weeks later than Mogi loquats.

■ Reason for Wakiari (Imperfect)
Loquats have high water content and their surfaces are easily scratched by vibrations during transport. There are surface scratches and discoloration. The inside is perfectly edible.

■ How to Eat
