Rare Neoregelia 'Domino' Pup
Rare Neoregelia 'Domino' Pup (Neoregelia ‘Domino’ (Chlorosticta x Pauciflora))
This is one of the original plants from the village chief.
About the Plant
Neoregelia 'Domino' (Scientific name: Neoregelia hybrid ‘Domino’) is a small tank bromeliad from the Bromeliaceae family, Neoregelia genus. It is a highly unique and beautiful variety with deep, dark purple leaves speckled with vibrant yellow-green spots. It is characterized by its fast growth and tendency to produce pups easily.
The contrast between the dark purple/brown leaves and the vivid green spots is its greatest appeal, making it a popular variety among bromeliad enthusiasts.
Basic Information
* Family/Genus: Bromeliaceae, Neoregelia genus
* Parentage: Chlorosticta x Pauciflora
* Type: Hard-leaf tank bromeliad
* Origin: Tropical to subtropical Americas. It is an epiphytic plant with leaves that spread in a rosette shape.
Key Cultivation Tips
* Keep in a location with good sunlight and ventilation.
* It grows by absorbing water not through its roots, but through the tank formed by the center of its overlapping leaves. It is important to maintain water in the tank at all times.
* To prevent water from stagnating, water from above the plant about once a week to refresh the water, and also mist the leaves.
* A very small amount of liquid fertilizer is sufficient.
* Avoid direct sunlight; a location with bright, indirect light is ideal. While it has some shade tolerance, adequate light is necessary to maintain vibrant leaf color.
Product Condition
* This is a pup cut from the mother plant and has been rooted in a net pot with sphagnum moss.
* The plant shown in the photos will be delivered.
* Due to the nature of plants, there may be some etiolation or damage to the leaves. Please check the photos.
Notes
* As this is a living organism, please understand that some leaf breakage or tip damage may occur during shipping.
* While we pack carefully, please be aware of high temperatures in summer and low temperatures in winter.
* Returns and exchanges of plants are not accepted.
* The condition may change slightly between the time of photography and shipping.
This is a home-grown plant, so please only purchase if you understand and accept this.
