A highly nutritious superfood that is very popular among Americans, supermodels, and Hollywood celebrities!
These are high-quality chia seeds cultivated using a method passed down from Japanese farmers in their native South America. We contract cultivate on specific farms through a traceability system (identifying the producer). We only contract with farmers who understand our commitment to cultivation methods.
Chia seeds are small, almost tasteless and odorless seeds that look like sesame seeds. They absorb moisture and expand to more than 10 times their size, creating a jelly-like, chewy texture.
One spoonful supports your daily nutrient needs! They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids (alpha-linolenic acid), which cannot be produced by the body, and while containing 0 cholesterol, they are rich in essential nutrients such as protein, calcium, iron, and all 8 essential amino acids.
Full of dietary fiber to support your diet! They expand to about 10 times their size, making them filling and helping to keep your stomach clear with the power of dietary fiber!
* Black or brown plant fragments may be mixed in with the chia seeds. These are chia seed stems and do not affect the quality.
