These are cylindrical carrots, making them easy to grow and eat. A long-selling variety loved in Europe since the 19th century. It's sweet and tender, delicious even when eaten raw. This early-maturing variety isn't picky about soil. Harvest size is approximately 12-15cm. They grow larger in cooler climates. Autumn sowing results in smaller carrots.

The seeds offered are from this autumn's harvest.
The field has been cultivated without pesticides since reclamation, using organic farming methods.
The carrots are grown using natural farming without fertilizer.

Cultivation Method:
● Sowing Period: March - September (January - March in greenhouses)

Sow directly in rows (shallowly, 5-15mm below the surface). Thin to 5-8cm spacing and hill up the soil. Maintain 25cm between rows. Water if the soil becomes too dry. Cover the roots with soil when they emerge from the surface. Harvest is approximately 70-90 days after sowing.

Organic seeds committed to safety.

GFP Sustainability Standards: Green Field Project Co., Ltd. has established GFP Sustainability Standards to independently verify that seeds are produced through organic cultivation and are free from chemical disinfection. As seeds are not eligible for certification under the Organic JAS standard, we aim to promote organic seeds through our own standards.

We also offer other herb and flower seeds, as well as heirloom varieties. Combined purchases are welcome.
