60 Japanese Violet Seeds
These are seeds of Japanese Murasaki (Lithospermum erythrorhizon) grown without pesticides.
We started growing them from seed. While germination is said to be difficult, we cultivated them with little trouble.
As we harvested a large quantity of seeds in the fall of 2025, we are now offering them for sale.
If you wish to purchase a large quantity, please leave a comment, and we will offer a discount and create a dedicated listing for you.
Germination depends on environmental conditions, so we cannot guarantee success. Please research cultivation methods online at your own discretion.
As this is naturally grown, please understand that dried leaves may be mixed in.

Overview of Murasaki
Botanical Characteristics:
This perennial plant is distributed in the Korean Peninsula and mainland China, growing in sunny grasslands. It blooms with small white flowers in early summer and is characterized by its reddish-purple roots.
Endangered Status: Pure Japanese Murasaki is drastically declining and is considered endangered due to environmental degradation in its natural habitats and hybridization with the introduced species, Lithospermum zanthellum (Western Murasaki).
