These are Kujo negi seedlings.
We have been saving seeds and growing them for over 10 years. When I was little, my father told me that eating negi would make me smarter, so I put negi on everything I ate. Thanks to that, I grew to love negi, but I didn't get any smarter.
When fully grown, they will be about as thick as a thumb and about 80 cm long.
They are perfect for miso soup, udon, and ramen, adding wonderful color, aroma, and flavor.
Grilled with ponzu sauce and shichimi togarashi, they are delicious with sake.
Please try planting some yourself!
The leaves will be trimmed to about 20 cm in length and shipped via Mercari delivery.
