These are waraji and straw zori made with rice straw, which is rarely seen these days. Our waraji are used in festivals throughout various regions of Japan. We have also received many requests for zori, so we have created these straw zori.

Completely handmade using natural straw.
Each pair is carefully crafted with sincerity.
Please use them as indoor slippers.

[About Straw Zori]
The thong of straw zori is located at the front center of the footwear. This allows the toes to spread naturally, and stability is achieved by gripping the thong with the toes extending beyond the zori.
Unlike shoes that cover the entire foot, zori and geta are considered beautiful when the heel slightly protrudes.
